Writing feels natural. Like breathing.

When I type, my fingers feel like they’re walking. Digits on keyboards. My feet on pavement.

A draft. A read. Vomit thoughts, then refined thoughts.

…then me.

No jumble in the head. No endless DVD menu repeating all night in my head.

Anxiety bleeds black and white serif.

I want perfect. But it will never come. And I am already here. If I wait for perfect, I will never arrive.

I’m writing because writing is how I think. I’ve always thought better through the written word. I remember when I was younger, writing a letter to my parents because it felt better than talking. Even today, writing feels the more natural way to communicate my ideas and thoughts.

Writing is me.
